The Union of Real Estate in Islamic Countries organized the \"Sustainable Endowments Forum: Experiences and Investment Solutions.\" The forum was held on April 22, 2016, corresponding to 15 Rajab 1437 AH, at the Jilan Intercontinental Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.<\/span><\/p>

The forum was attended by a large number of individuals interested in Islamic endowments from various Islamic countries, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Somalia, Yemen, and others. The audience was addressed by a wide range of Saudi and Turkish speakers with expertise, personal experience, and specialized studies on endowments in general, and Islamic endowments in particular.<\/span><\/p>

The lecturers and speakers focused on endowment experiences that achieve financial sustainability, drawing on global endowment practices in developed countries and lessons learned from the history of endowments in various Islamic countries. Additionally, they shared their own practical experiences in establishing financially sustainable endowments.<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Mohammed Yahya Al-Mofreh, Chairman of the Union of Real Estate in Islamic Countries, expressed his happiness with the success of the Sustainable Endowments Forum and the interactions and discussions that took place between the attendees and the speakers, which significantly enriched both sides' knowledge. He further announced that, based on the high demand and strong interest, an agreement was signed to organize the First International Islamic Endowments Forum, which will, God willing, be held annually under the umbrella of the Union of Real Estate, with the participation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Islamic Development Bank, and other governmental and specialized organizations. The forum will also feature a specialized exhibition showcasing services and investment products dedicated to endowments in the Islamic world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
