The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the chair of the fifth session of the Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers, organized an interactive virtual seminar today, Thursday, September 19, 2024, in celebration of OIC Youth Day. The seminar was titled
"Achieving OIC Objectives and Sustainable Development through Strengthening Youth Partnerships."
The Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Social, and Cultural Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakhit, delivered the OIC General Secretariat's speech during the seminar. He stated that this event represents a valuable opportunity for participants from member states, OIC bodies and institutions, and partner organizations to explore ways to strengthen effective partnerships and how these partnerships can contribute to fully achieving the OIC's objectives and sustainable development goals.
