On Sunday, October 20, 2024, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), His Excellency Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received His Excellency Mr. Miah Mohammad Minul Kabir, the Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah and the Deputy Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the OIC, at the OIC General Secretariat.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their appreciation for the existing cooperative relations between the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Bangladesh. They discussed ways to enhance dialogue and cooperation in various fields. They also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, particularly the situation of the Rohingya Muslims.
